The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Education team in the Birmingham Office, recruiting for temporary and permanent Teachers and support staff! Supported by a team with over 20 years experience, this team is a truly collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing, achieving multiple promotions throughout their careers to date.

As the specialist recruitment consultant operating within Education, you will recruit for schools in the West Midlands, supporting them with sickness cover and permanent opportunities. You’ll be part of the wider Birmingham office, with over 70 specialist consultants working within specific industries, providing you with more than just a job, we offer you the training and a career where you can expect to be:

• Part of a team who are professional and deliver world-class recruitment solutions to our customers.


• Identifying and building partnerships with both new and existing clients and candidates


• Providing outstanding service delivery to your portfolio of customers.


• Partnering with new candidates and working with them to secure their career ambitions.


• Handling the full recruitment process - from shortlisting through to offering the successful candidate their new job

What can I expect day to day?

You will have full responsibility of your own desk, candidates, and clients, supported by colleagues with a wealth of experience empowering you to learn and grow from the market leaders in recruitment. You will gain experience across a varied range of skills to include:

• Building relationships with clients


• Winning new business


• Managing vacancies from start to finish.


• Screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates.


• Matching the best candidates to the best jobs

What you'll need to succeed:

• No previous recruitment experience is needed.


• Passion to succeed and be part of a fast-paced inclusive environment.

• Able to work 7:30am - 5pm (reduced hours during school holidays)


• A valid driving license
