Electrical Maintenance Engineer



Location: Birmingham



Salary: £43k Basic + Scheduled Callout Pay to earn average of £50k, with lots of opportunities to earn more



Package: Double Matched Pension (9%), Healthcare, OT (2x Sun, 1.5x Sat), Bonus


Hours: Mon – Fri // 7:00am to 15:30pm // (1 in 7 Callout, paid as Overtime)

To aid in their ongoing expansion efforts, we are looking for an electrical maintenance engineer to join the skilled team.


Key Responsibilities:


As an electrical maintenance engineer, you will be expected to:



  • Completing planned preventive maintenance

  • Reacting to breakdowns

  • Electrical fault finding.

  • Electrical installations

  • Undertaking project work which can include upgrading and new machine installation. 

  • Fault finding down to inputs and outputs on a PLC

  • Fault finding on 3-Phase Equipment

  • Experience with Variable Speed Drives

  • Pneumatics experience

  • Reading electrical drawings


    • About You:


    To be considered for this electrical maintenance engineer role you should be/have the following:



  • Team player.

  • Ability to fault find electrically

  • Be comfortable working in a heavy industry environment

  • Be happy for callouts every 1 in 7 weeks (paid as Overtime)

  • You should hold a recognised level 3 (or above) electrical qualification - city and guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC.
