We’re working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in Birmingham, looking to appoint a talented Structural Technician to join their growing Birmingham office and support their expanding workload across a diverse range of sectors

Baynham Meikle is looking for a Structural Technician with a minimum of five years' experience in a UK-based design consultancy. Revit experience is highly desirable, as is a strong understanding of structural detailing and a proactive approach to project work. This role would suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively and is comfortable producing high-quality drawings in a fast-paced environment

What You Need To Succeed
At least five years' experience in a UK structural design consultancy
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; strong Revit skills are a significant advantage
Experience in concrete and steel detailing will be highly regarded
Solid understanding of UK construction standards and detailing practices
Ability to work from engineer’s designs to produce clear, accurate technical drawings
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
Eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Educated to HNC/HND level (or equivalent)
