Description

The role of Operations Manager plays a pivotal part in helping deliver our growth strategy to further build on the brands success to date. You will work closely with the Head of Marrons and Marrons Executive team to optimise productivity and profitability, acting as a conduit between the Executive team and Ampa Group Services (AGS) colleagues. In addition, the Operations Manager is responsible for managing a small team of PA’s who offer support across the Marrons brand.

You will be responsible for:

Operational & Process Management:
  • Ensuring that processes are efficient and fit for purpose across the Marrons brand by working with colleagues across Marrons and the wider group
  • Champion technology and upskilling and acting as a central point for project roll outs and change initiatives
  • Work with a range of colleagues to implement the Group’s premises strategy aligned to the Marrons brand needs
Team & Resource Management:
  • Managing a small team of PA’s ensuring high performance and continuous development
  • Allocating and managing resources efficiently to ensure work is completed at the right level by the right people
Financial & Risk Management:
  • Collaborate with the Group Finance team to review brand profitability, and assist with budget setting processes
  • Working with the Risk & Compliance team to develop strategies to manage risk efficiently and consistently across the brand, and monitor conflicts across Marrons as the brand grows
Strategic Planning:
  • Working with the Marrons Executive to support the brands approach to setting and implementing growth strategy
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiencies to enhance growth strategy
  • Oversee and project manage integration of any new service as a result of growth
  • Work closely with the Group wide People team to develop recruitment and talent strategies

You will need:

  • Previous experience working within the consultancy sector, preferably a Planning or Design Consultancy.
  • Experience of managing a team and working with senior leadership to drive change and improve performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, credibility and impact quickly with stakeholders at all levels
  • A track record of delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction
  • An ability to build strong relationships and collaborate closely with peers across the group to drive business performance
