Vertu Ford Birmingham Fleet

Here at the Vertu Ford Birmingham Fleet dealership, we believe that customer and colleague satisfaction is at the forefront of everything that we do. We continuously invest in both our facilities and colleagues, with structured training, mentoring and remuneration packages that reward the very best.

We are now looking for a Compound Assistant to join our fantastic team! We are offering a basic salary of £12.21 per hour.

Hours of work: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour Lunch

Our Compound Assistants play a key role in our success, and our standards and expectations are extremely high. At its simplest, this role means ensuring that our customers visiting the dealership are looked after by being able to park easily, escorted to the showroom, (with umbrellas if necessary), and have their vehicles positioned for a hassle-free departure when they leave. Another part of this role is liaising with logistic providers for collection of vehicles, ensuring vehicles are inspected 48 hours before onward delivery as well as ensuring PDI/parts/packs are completed in a timely fashion as per instructions from fleet/sites.

We are looking for an individual who has an appreciation for the importance of maximising the customer visit experience and who is adaptable to frequently changing priorities. You will be a confident individual with outstanding personal presentation and great teamwork is also a must!

You must also have a Full UK Driving Licence.

This role means working outside in all weathers and applicants must be aware of and comfortable with this requirement. Of course, we will provide suitable, all-weather clothing to maximise personal presentation and minimise any discomfort.

Benefits

We are proud to be the Motor Retailer who invests more in our colleague's personal development than any other, so if you are successful, you can look forward to on-going training opportunities that provide you with the right career path, career progression and a range of benefits you would expect from an employer of choice which includes:

  • 25 days holiday rising with length of service – plus bank holidays
  • Access to our online rewards platform giving you cash back and discounts for multiple retailers
  • Preferential Service Rates
  • Colleague Purchase Scheme
  • Share Incentive Scheme
  • Pension
  • Enhanced Maternity
