We are recruiting an IT Service Platforms Manager who will be responsible for managing a team comprising of Service Automation and Service Platform Management Specialists in order to drive usage of automated solutions throughout Technology Services and to provide support, maintenance and development for systems used within Technology Services such as Halo ITSM, Jira and Azure DevOps. 

This role can be based out of any of our UK office locations, and our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.  

Candidate Overview 

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:  

• Extensive experience managing an enterprise ITSM such as Halo, ServiceNow or similar.  Ideally have working knowledge of Jira with an aim to shift and streamline processes into Halo as the central Service Management system within the firm. 

• Minimum 3+ years line management experience (Manager/ Team leader / Supervisor) - with experience in areas such as appraisals, 1-2-1s, continuous development and training. 

•  Able to evidence great stakeholder management skills – be that internal colleagues, external clients or third-party suppliers – with the ability to challenge where appropriate. 

• Experience in IT project work – including the full life cycle from initial concept, to planning, to roll out to helping with adoption. 

• Confident in working on new and challenging tasks and being proactive in looking at process / system improvements especially on cloud-based platforms as our Technology strategy is to transition as many on-prem solutions to cloud-based systems. 

• Experience in service automation would be desirable such as PowerApps, LogicApps scripting and integration of different systems including APIs to support the Service Automation team's strategy for development opportunities.
