We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, supply chain management, and continuous improvement processes. The Production Manager will lead a team, manage resources effectively, and implement best practices to enhance productivity.

Duties

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the production process.
• Manage supply chain operations, including inventory management and procurement of materials.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise business processes and systems.
• Provide training and support to staff on assembly techniques and equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance regularly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a production management role or similar position within a manufacturing or automotive environment is essential
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems is advantageous.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Excellent understanding of business processes related to manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
