Date: 4 hours ago
City: Birmingham
Contract type: Full time
Work schedule: Full day

Birmingham, West Midlands
Part-Time
As part of our recovery-focused group session timetable, we offer a Walking for Health and Happiness drop-in which is facilitated by one of our Recovery Navigators. This session offers service users the opportunity to explore scenic and interesting local routes while learning about the rich history of the Northfield area.
Due to the drop-in nature of the group, attendance can vary each week. As the group is growing in popularity, we’d like a volunteer to support with facilitation to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
As part of your role you will co-facilitate the Walking for Health and Happiness group session. This may involve adapting the pace when necessary so that all participants enjoy the walk and are able to join in.
Once per week, Tuesday 2-4pm
As a volunteer with Creative Support we offer training for your role, access to a volunteer supervisor, an induction, a monthly volunteer newsletter, and an online volunteer support network group on Zoom.
