About the Company - Our Client is looking for an individual to provide support to group logistics and operations, ideally with experience in the fasteners or related industries.
About the Role - Are you someone who likes to be out and about on the road? Then this could be the perfect role for you. You'll be visiting Clients running checks on the systems / Machines they have in place. Restocking where necessary making sure our customers have the right product at the right time.
This role will have you traveling most weeks and will have you based out of your home.
Responsibilities
- Existing customer VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) health checks (audit) which will involve visiting customers, reporting the findings and document improvement actions/recommendations.
- Interacting with customers and internal personnel on a daily basis (at all levels) by telephone and email – excellent communication skills required.
- Support warehouse operations to cover busy periods, sickness and holidays throughout all Group locations.
- Being involved with new business installation and set-up processes/procedures.
- Loading & unloading of goods from delivery vehicles.
- Delivery & collection of stock from customers and suppliers.
Qualifications - A driver’s licence and the ability to travel to locations at short notice.

- Proficient skills in Word, Power Point & Excel.
Pay range and compensation package - Salary - £27,000 + Company Vehicle.
