Salary £75,000-80,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in property refurbishments and a passion for delivering projects that make a real difference?


We’re working in partnership with a respected national care home provider, currently undergoing a major investment programme across its estate. As part of this transformation, they’re seeking a Property Project Manager to oversee a range of refurbishment and service repurposing projects across the UK.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on managing multiple live environments and understands the importance of balancing construction demands with operational care delivery.


The Role:


Reporting into the Property Director, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of property projects, ensuring each is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. These projects are vital to the ongoing modernisation of care homes and involve the enhancement and repurposing of existing services to better meet resident needs.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage and coordinate multiple refurbishment and transformation projects across a national estate.

  • Engage with internal stakeholders and care home teams to understand operational needs and minimise disruption.

  • Oversee project planning, tendering, contractor selection, and on-site delivery.

  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, health & safety, and care industry compliance standards.

  • Report regularly to senior leadership on project status, spend, and risks.

  • Champion resident-focused design and service improvement across the portfolio.


What We’re Looking For:



  • Proven track record in property project management, ideally within care, healthcare, residential, or hospitality sectors.

  • Experience managing complex refurbishment or service transformation projects in live, operational environments.

  • Strong commercial awareness and contractor management skills.

  • Able to travel nationally with occasional overnight stays.

  • Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Construction, or Surveying. PRINCE2 or APM is a plus.
