Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading company in the manufacturing industry. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that the company’s products meet the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing product quality, identifying issues, and driving continuous improvements in manufacturing processes. If you are passionate about quality control and eager to make a direct impact in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you!
Package
- Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Control: Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards and specifications. Conduct in-process and final product inspections.
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate product defects or quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements aimed at reducing defects, enhancing efficiency, and optimizing overall manufacturing operations.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, audits, and quality performance metrics. Provide reports to management on the status of quality initiatives.
Supplier Quality Management: Work closely with suppliers to ensure they meet the required quality standards. Assist in conducting supplier audits and supporting the supplier approval process.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure products and processes comply with relevant internal quality management systems (QMS) and external standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
Training & Support: Support the training and development of manufacturing personnel to improve quality awareness and adherence to best practices.
Risk Management: Assist in risk assessments and contribute to strategies aimed at maintaining high-quality standards and minimizing product-related risks.
Tooling & Equipment: Ensure inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and properly maintained for optimal performance.
Experience Required
Essentials
- Experience working in Manufacturing or Fasteners
- Experience in internal Auditing
- Worked to ISO9001 standards
- Passion for Continuous improvement
