We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Caretaker to join our team and help maintain a safe, secure, and well-functioning college environment on a full-time, permanent basis. The working hour will be 6:00 -14:00 and 11:00 – 19:00. If you are a practical, hands-on individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to keeping things running smoothly, we would love to hear from you!


Responsibilities


In this role, you will assist with general maintenance, minor repairs, security, cleaning, and groundskeeping, ensuring the premises and equipment are in top condition. You’ll also be responsible for managing tools and materials, supporting deliveries and furniture moves, and keeping accurate records of maintenance and security incidents. Strong communication skills are key, as you’ll liaise with staff across the college to ensure smooth daily operations.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the knowledge and/or experience of general maintenance/ caretaking duties. You will also hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle in order to attend site if responding to an out of hours call out.
