2nd Line SD-WAN Support Engineer - SC Clearance - Birmingham - #1665365

We are looking for 2nd Line SD-WAN Support Engineer based in Birmingham. You'll play a crucial role in providing technical support for SD-WAN services, ensuring smooth network operations, and troubleshooting complex issues. Salary ranges between £28K - £35K + 15% Shift Allowance. This role requires full-time on-site and SC Clearance.You will be providing direct 2nd line technical support for my client's SD-WAN services. Responsibilities include:- Monitor and manage network events via orchestrator tools.- Provide proactive network support and incident diagnosis.- Develop knowledge articles and share expertise within the team.- Contribute to continual service improvement and performance optimization.- Handle customer escalations, perform remote diagnostics, and implement approved changes.Skills and Experience:- Solid understanding of network protocols and concepts.- Experience with Cisco SD-WAN (vManage, LiveNX, Elastic monitoring tools).- Familiarity with MS Service Centre Support tools.- Working knowledge of Cisco technologies, including routing and IP protocols.- Experience supporting Windows and Linux platforms, including patching and maintenance.- Awareness of cybersecurity practices and security monitoring in operational environments.- Experience in WAN supportThis role requires SC Clearance, so you would need to either hold active SC Clearance or be eligible for Clearance - Sole British nationality is essential for this role due to the nature of the projects.Please apply for immediate interview!CBSbutler is operating and advertising as an Employment Agency for permanent positions and as an Employment Business for interim / contract / temporary positions.
