Elevate Supply is working with secondary schools in Birmingham to appoint a confident and enthusiastic English Teacher. This is a great opportunity to inspire a love for English language and literature across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English lessons tailored to a range of student abilities
- Prepare students for GCSEs and other assessments
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a supportive classroom culture that promotes learning
- Contribute to curriculum development and department planning
- Engage with extracurricular opportunities to enhance learning
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in English or a related subject
- Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management
- Positive attitude and commitment to student success
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
