We are seeking a highly experienced Design Lead to work within an Engineering team. The primary objective of this role is to enhance the design delivery function. This will be achieved by providing strong people-focused leadership to a team of project-based Design Delivery Managers.


This role will provide the ability to generate ideas to increase design supplier productivity and improve design throughput. The role will also be responsible for, developing robust data and reporting systems and managing design approval systems.


We are looking for someone who really wants to make a difference and initiate change as this role will play a key part in enhancing the design capability.


What the role will be doing:



  • Contribute to the organisation's digital transformation initiatives related to design delivery

  • Identify opportunities for leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and productivity

  • Actively seek opportunities to increase design productivity without compromising quality

  • Provide expert guidance and support to the delivery teams on technical design matters


Experience needed:



  • Significant mobile infrastructure site design experience

  • Significant experience of managing teams
