The Opportunity


A leading global consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its dynamic Real Estate team in Birmingham. This is an opportunity to lead large-scale projects, working with top-tier clients, cross-functional teams, and industry leaders to deliver world-class developments.


As a key figure in the organisation, you will be responsible for driving projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


This is a client you will know the name of and after meeting them I cannot recommend them enough. The change in this business over the last three years has been nothing short of phenomenal. They have adapted to the modern way of working and are leading the way in both technology, benefits, flexible working and inclusion.


Happy to expand further over a catch up. All sector experience considered due to the large number of project available.


What You’ll Be Doing


End-to-End Project Management – Oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale construction projects.


Project Planning & Budgeting – Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring efficient resource allocation.


Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to align on objectives.


Risk & Compliance Management – Implement governance, conduct risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies.


Financial Oversight – Monitor budgets, track costs, and manage change control.


Leadership & Communication – Lead meetings, provide clear reporting, and ensure seamless coordination between all parties.


Client & Business Development – Identify opportunities for growth and build lasting client relationships.


Mentoring & Development – Support and guide junior project managers, fostering their career growth.


What We’re Looking For



  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Expertise in construction processes, methodologies, and best practices

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • Consultancy experience preferred

  • Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification (a plus!)
