Our client, a prominent player in the IT sector, is currently seeking a skilled Functional UK Payroll Consultant with expertise in Oracle to join their team. This role involves leading and supporting a payroll implementation for an existing client in the retail sector, starting immediately on a contract basis for a duration of 10 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support payroll implementation activities for an existing retail sector client.
  • Conduct design workshops to gather and document payroll solution requirements.
  • Configure Oracle Cloud HCM, including UK Payroll, Fast Formula, element design, and payroll process flows.
  • Provide insights and configurations for absence management where necessary.
  • Utilise OTBI reporting and SQL for payroll data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure payroll integrations are effectively managed and maintained.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of UK payroll practices, tax laws, and related regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and problem-solving.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, particularly in UK Payroll.
  • Proficient in Fast Formula configuration, element design, and payroll process flows.
  • An understanding of OTBI reporting, SQL, and payroll integrations is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of UK payroll practices, tax laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct design workshops and document payroll solutions.
  • Hybrid working model, with flexibility to travel as needed.
