We are looking for an experienced business development professional with a strong understanding of the Transport sector to play a key role in driving growth. Youll be responsible for achieving business development targets and contributing to the implementation of the sector strategy. As Part Of Your Key Responsibilities Youll
- Work collaboratively with the Business Development team to ensure alignment with Uniparts overall objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Transport sector, contributing to and exceeding set targets
- Support the Transport Director in delivering growth targets aligned with the corporate plan
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the sector strategy, identifying target customers, markets, and services
- Assist in shaping Transport sector offerings based on customer insights and working with the engineering and innovation team
- Deliver sector-specific value propositions and support marketing efforts in communicating these effectively
- Contribute to sector mapping, research, opportunity identification, and development
- Support the overall pipeline sector development and provide leads to other sectors as appropriate
- Prepare detailed tender information for review, ensuring new business meets profitability targets
- Develop and manage new customer relationships
- Lead the preparation of tender responses and presentations
- Facilitate the smooth transition of new customers to Operations teams

- Proven track record in business development within the Transport sector
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate at various levels
- Solid commercial and financial acumen
- Strong negotiation skills
