UK Warehouse Lead

Duties

Reporting to the Operations Director, the newly created position of UK Warehouse Lead will act as the process owner for all warehouse and stock related activities across CHHs sites in Birmingham and Chesterfield. He/she will assume responsibility for site audits and compliance reporting, as well as performance reporting.Additional duties will also include:

Analyse and optimize processes to identify ways to improve efficiency and increase productivity

Oversee efficient warehouse operations enabling the business to fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets

Plan and approve schedules

Manage budgets

Establish and enforce policies

Negotiate with vendors and contractors

Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for change

Produce regular reports and statistics

Assist in planning future capacity requirements

Essential Skills And Attributes

Should have operational experience gained within a warehouse environment i.e. not just a Lean practitioner or similar

Line management experience and can evidence record of developing team members

IT literate in particular spreadsheets and databases with a knowledge of warehouse systems

Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality

Good planning skills and ability to meet targets and deadlines
