Kinetic Industrial are recruiting for Trainee Mill Operatives for a Birmingham based client. Our client is a global, process driven manufacturing company, and are a world leader in their Industry.
To be successful in this position, you must be dedicated to learning operational processes with a view to becoming a fully trained Mill Operative. During training, you will be working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. Following this you be working a pattern of 12 hour shifts which may include nights and weekends.
The role:
Working within a production environment
Working on a training and development programme to gain the necessary skills and expertise
Operating various types of machinery
Working within the stores department
Yard work
General warehousing duties
Engaging in continuous improvement culture
Keeping up with the demands of changing technology and working practices
Assisting with the training and development of your colleagues
Following health and safety procedures and reporting and hazards, incidents or accidents
Requirements:
Experience of working in a manufacturing / production environment
Experience of working with chemicals
FLT License
5 GCSE's or equivalent incl. Math's and English
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Eager to learn and progress
Flexible - able to work nights and weekends
Understanding of Health and Safety
