Walter People are currently working alongside a leading business based in Coleshill in their recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant on a 3 month interim contract. The role will be paid on a day rate with a perm equivalent salary of £30K based on experience and can offer hybrid working. The role will be paid on a day rate with a perm equivalent salary of £30K based on experience and can offer hybrid working.

• Completion of regular weekly and monthly management information to the business, division and group


• Accruals & prepayments


• Journal postings


• Support with the production of monthly management accounts to strict


• Balance sheet reconciliations


• Provide cover for other team members


• Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders to facilitate information flow


• Contribution to ongoing continuous improvement of processes within the division

The Successful Candidate will have the Following:

• Previous experience of working in a similar role (Management Accountant/Assistant Accountant)


• Ideally part qualified and actively studying a professional qualification


• Intermediate Excel skills


• Great interpersonal skills


• Able to interview/start at short notice
